Our projects and operations are primarily located in Central West New South Wales. We hold several highly prospective gold and copper tenements in the region and aim to grow into a multi-mine gold and copper producer.
Alkane owns and operates Tomingley Gold Operations, an open pit and underground gold mine with extensive resources. Our Boda-Kaiser Project represents a genuine prospect for a bulk-tonnage gold-copper development.
Alkane is ASX-listed with headquarters in Perth, Western Australia.
Tomingley
Current gold production is from our wholly owned subsidiary, Tomingley Gold Operations, an open pit and underground gold mine southwest of Dubbo. In 2024, Tomingley celebrated 10 years of operation.
Tomingley has a mining plan extending beyond 2030 and the ability to extend resources further. We continue to advance gold exploration projects in the surrounding tenement areas. Gold production is heading towards a planned 100,000 ounces per year in FY27.
Boda-Kaiser
Alkane’s Boda-Kaiser Project is founded on a large, gold-copper porphyry system north of Wellington. With an estimated metal inventory of 8.3Moz of gold and 1.5Mt of copper, the Boda-Kaiser resources represent a genuine prospect for a long-term bulk-tonnage development.
We completed a scoping study in July 2024 to evaluate the potential project economics and continue to progress baseline environmental assessments.
Ongoing regional exploration indicates Boda-Kaiser may lie within a broader gold-copper province (the Northern Molong Porphyry Project).
Exploration
Alkane’s experienced exploration team presides over a number of promising gold, gold-copper and other metal (nickel, zinc and silver) prospects in Central West NSW.
Our rigorous approach involves understanding geological frameworks and using advanced techniques to assist with drill targeting. Our two priority exploration projects are the Tomingley Gold Project and the Northern Molong Porphyry Project (NMPP).
