Corporate governance framework
Our corporate governance framework is based on the principles and recommendations of the ASX Corporate Governance Council. The key features of Alkane’s framework are set out in our annual Corporate Governance Statement.
Board and sub-committees
The Alkane Board comprises five directors and two joint company secretaries with skills and experience across technical, operational, finance, broking and general business. The Board has four established sub-committees, each with its own charter:
- Board charter
- Audit Committee
- Nomination Committee
- Remuneration Committee
- Risk Management Committee (which governs ESG considerations)
Modern Slavery Statement
In keeping with the Australian Government’s Modern Slavery Act 2018, Alkane submits an annual Modern Slavery Statement.
