Alkane’s Casey Martin has won the Thiess Outstanding Australian Tradeswoman, Operator or Technician Award at the Women in Resources National Awards in Canberra on 6 September 2022.
Casey joined Tomingley Gold Operations in 2021 as an Underground Bogger Operator, breaking new ground as the first woman underground at the operation.
Casey’s award is in recognition of her outstanding professional capability and support for women’s career advancement.
