Alkane in your community
Alkane has been part of the Dubbo regional community for more than four decades and involved with the Wellington community for more than 20 years.
Gold discovery near Bodangora
Alkane discovered significant gold and copper deposits north of Wellington in September 2019. The Boda and Kaiser resources lie approximately 3km northeast of Bodangora on the lands cohabited by the Bodangora Wind Farm.
The road ahead
Alkane is conducting further exploration and other preliminary studies to help determine whether the Boda-Kaiser deposits are economically feasible to mine. If we do decide to mine, the community will be consulted every step of the way.

We work closely with local landowners and communities to minimise the impacts of our activities. Our goal is always to listen and respond to the needs of our stakeholders and build mutually cooperative relationships
